For the time being, I can only tell that these are not troubling my stomach and are easy to take, as you would need to take these long term to see benefits. However there are hundreds of peer-reviewed studies you can look at on oleocanthal, which show it to be anti-inflammatory, basically offers benefits against the wear and tear of old age, and may be a key factor in the positive results of eating a Mediterranean diet, as well as other things. Oleacein is similar, as well as being a anti-microbial, and it could potentially help with insulin sensitivity. However studies have also shown that olive oil gets better results than pure oleocanthal, there are probably combined effects with other substances in olive oil. But I find myself unable to keep up with consuming olive oil (or other healthy oils) on a regular basis and so this is a case where it would be better personally to accept potentially less effects than no effects from not consuming olive oil. It's also worth mentioning that there are (admittedly expensive) high oleocanthal olive oils on the market which could potentially result in more oleocanthal than this product if you do consume olive oil regularly in your diet. Figuring out whether or not this makes sense for you diet-wise and economically is something you will need to calculate for yourself. Oligen claims their product dosage is equivalent to about 3 tablespoons of olive oil but the amount of oleocanthal in olive oil varies very widely.
